What is the E111 Form?
The E111 form did entitle you to reduced health care costs when you visit a European Union country and is issued from the UK. From the 1st of September 2005 E111 are not available.
What is the EHIC form?
The EHIC form entitles you to reduced health care costs when you visit a European Union country and is issued from Ireland and other EU countries. EHICs now replace E111 in the UK and Ireland.
Do I need travel insurance if I have an E111 form?
If you are travelling to Europe and have an E111 form you still need travel insurance.
